took over twice the time they said it would and the food is almost inedible. The french fries have obviously been sitting - the worst part I live 2 blocks from the restaurant but wasn't able to go pick it up. think twice about ordering from here.

It seems the prices have been raised yet again. I'm going to have to look elsewhere. This place used to be consistently very good, both in person and for delivery, as well as reasonably priced. But it's been a few months now and there is no denying the dip in quality and care from the restaurant. The food is sometimes undercooked and sometimes you just get the feeling they have regressed into being a joint just looking for customer turnover. Additionally, the prices have recently been raised, AND they have added an outgoing plate charge. It's come to the point where it's time to seek other options. The food just isn't good enough to warrant the higher prices.

This IS one of the best delivery diners in the area of the Upper East Side that I have encountered. Whenever, I crave diner food, this is my go-to establishment. Excellent food. Excellent service. Also, their soups are fantastic!

Excellent food and large portions at this Upper East Side diner. They have amazing greek specialty dishes, including one of the only diners that serves Avgolemono soup and it is thick and creamy and delicious. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly and delivery is quick.

chicken fingers were delicious and quite large. the chicken in the fingers is 100% pure white meat and you can tell that it's not processed meat. sandwiches are big especially if you order the combo mean and could be shared for 2 people.

Green Kitchen makes really crispy, flavorful buffalo wings and delivers them quickly. I'v ordered from GC for several years and while the quality and service has fluctuated a bit, they seem to always bounce back.

I love Green Kitchen for good, clean diner food. They are open 24 hours so are a great place to order from late at night. The food always arrives quickly and is hot. My favorites are diner classics like a reuben sandwich, chick souvlaki platter, and a BLT with fries. They also have great fresh salads if you are trying to be a bit healthier.

By far, the best diner food delivered I have had. They have a very extensive menu and manage to do many things well. Favorites include the eggplant parm, the chicken quesadilla, and the delicious paninis. portions are also very generous for the price.

The burger was pretty good - Nothing special and it was a little soggy by the time it got to our door. Chicken quesadilla is made with real, actual chicken -- which we figured out since there were bones in it, but it's better than some type of mashed up chicken nugget mixture. Stay away from the appetizer pizza -- especially the sausage. It looks plastic, like from a kid's playset.

Green Kitchen delivers consistent diner food, nothing spectacular but exactly what you are looking for - be it late night comfort food or something heavy to soak up all the reminders of the previous night's activities. They are open 24 hours and the delivery is usually very fast.

Green Kitchen used to be our favorite restaurant to order from. That was until customer service was unbelievably rude! Do not ask the guy answering phones anything if you don't want to get in an argument! They forgot two of our beverages for one order, I called, and the guy said, "You really want me to make the deliver guy go all the way back for drinks!" Ridiculous. Then, there was a misunderstanding about a delivery address, our fault, but when I tried to clear it up with the guy, he responded in a pissed off tone, "When were you going to tell me about it?!" Just snapping at everything, unprofessional, enough so, that we are never going to order from here again, it's just not worth it!

I foolishly ordered from this place 3 times...I am never ordering again. This time I ordered burgers, they aren't made the way they ordered, my soda was never delivered and I had to chase down the delivery guy and then call to get refunded. Previously I ordered breakfast which was down right awful, but figured who gets good breakfast delivery? Never again

Asked for extra dressing for my salad and that was left out. It was a chef's salad and the main course for my dinner. As far as I am concerned dinner was a waste. Delivery was prompt, but with their high prices, you'd think the delivery boy would have a pen and not have to borrow one from my doorman.The smoothies were outrageously expensive... small in both size and taste. Soup was good. Never again.

This is by far the best diner I have tried on the UES. The food quality is unbelievable, especially for a diner. Also, delivery is extremely quick and accurate. Favorites include matzoh ball soup, chicken quesadillas, chicken parmesan, spinach pie and the most deliciously decadent dessert I have ever tried, the brownie royale.

The matzoh ball soup and Churascos were really good and tasty, and the portions were very decently sized. Even though the restaurant was short-staffed, they made a very quick delivery. Based on this experience I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Some people criticize Green Kitchen for having sub-par food, but, for what this place is--- a 24 hour diner--the quality is definitely impressive and the selections well-varied. They don't oversalt their foods and their fries are crispy and not too greasy-- plus, the establishment itself is clean and attractive, which can't be said of most diners. Every time I have ordered delivery from them, my food has been delivered on time and all my "special" requests have been fulfilled. I highly recommend Green Kitchen as a highly-respectable late-night option!

The first time I ordered, everything was perfect. Placed an order this morning and over an hour later called to see what the status was and was informed that the delivery guy never showed up and the order was cancelled. No one notified me! Very disappointed.

Upon moving to the UES my sister and I "auditioned" almost all the diner's in the area. This diner is by far the best!! We eat here and/or order from here weekly. Super fast delivery, and my order has always been correct. Great portions for the money.

Just ordered breakfast from this place, and I'm stuffed! The food came extremely fast (15 minutes - I live about 6 blocks away), and mostly correct. The only thing missing was the "pure maple syrup" that cost an extra 1.50 - they gave me three packets of Kraft Pancake syrup instead. Large servings... Pancakes: a little tough, won't order again. Maybe they don't travel well... Scrambled eggs: delicious - it came with toast, and it wasn't soggy or anything...hard to do with delivery. Home Fries: I loved them! Coffee: correct and exactly the way I asked. will order again :-)
